Miniaturization and modular design:
Compact in size, it can be fully placed into the operating chamber of a standard glove box.
Usually designed as a split type: the heating furnace body, electrolytic cell (crucible+electrode assembly), power supply and measurement unit can be independently operated or quickly assembled.
High safety and sealing:
Double sealing: The equipment itself needs to operate in a sealed glove box to prevent leakage of molten salt vapor or reactive gases (such as Cl ₂) from contaminating the inert atmosphere of the glove box.
Material compatibility: All components in contact with molten salt (crucibles, electrodes, furnace tubes) should be made of corrosion-resistant materials (such as quartz, alumina ceramics, molybdenum, tantalum, graphite) and ensure compatibility with glove box materials.
Gas management: Micro gas purification/absorption devices may be equipped, or trace harmful gases may be treated through the main purification system of the glove box.
Accurate temperature and electrochemical control:
Heating: Using resistance wire heating, equipped with high-precision thermocouple (K-type) and temperature control system, the temperature control accuracy can reach ± 1 ℃.
Electrochemical workstation integration: can be connected to potentiometers/galvanometers for precise electrochemical testing (such as CV, EIS, chronoamperometry) and electrolysis control.
Data collection: supports real-time recording of parameters such as temperature, voltage, and current.
Convenience of operation:
Glove friendly operation: All control interfaces (power lines, signal lines, cooling water pipes) are introduced through the airlock of the glove box, and the design of the operating handle and knob makes it easy to operate while wearing gloves.
Quick sample loading: The electrolytic cell design facilitates quick replacement of molten salt, electrodes, and samples inside the glove box.
Cooling system:
Optional water-cooled furnace cover or water-cooled electrode to prevent high temperature damage to the internal structure and seals of the glove box, and help maintain temperature gradient.
