Equipment Description.

Thermal shrinkage and expansion testers can accurately measure information on the expansion and contraction of various materials (e.g. ceramics, glass and building materials) during heat treatment. Especially in the case of ceramic materials, the loss of binder sintering, the sintering behaviour and the influence of additives during sintering during the production process can be measured by the Thermal Expansion Tester. Thermal expansion meters can also be used in the development of glazes.
By testing the thermal expansion and shrinkage coefficients together with the glass transition temperature, changes in the glass can be quickly and easily understood.
