On April 25, 2021, the two-day "The Sixth National Academic Conference on New Energy and Chemical Materials and the National Academic Conference on Energy Conversion and Storage Materials" was successfully concluded in Xi 'an Qujiang International Hotel.

The conference was sponsored by the New Materials Committee of Chemical Engineering Society of China, Xi 'an Jiaotong University and Xi 'an University of Technology, and co-organized by 23 universities, including Nankai University, Zhengzhou University, Guangdong University of Technology, Zhejiang University and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The chairman of the conference is Professor Zhang Suojiang, Academician of CAS and Institute of Process Engineering of CAS.

 The conference will focus on academic and applied fields of energy conversion and storage nanomaterials, lithium ion batteries, sodium ion batteries, lithium sulfur batteries, solid state batteries, fuel cells, liquid flow batteries, metal air batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells and electrocatalysis, positive and negative materials, hydrogen storage materials and processes, heat storage materials and technologies, and other energy storage technologies. The conference brought together famous domestic experts, scholars and enterprise technicians to discuss the future development prospect and direction of new energy materials and devices research field.
