A salt bath furnace is a heat treatment equipment that uses molten salt solution as a heating and heat transfer medium. The workpiece is immersed in high-temperature molten salt and rapidly and uniformly heated through convection and conduction of the salt solution. It is mainly used for quenching, tempering, isothermal quenching, tempering, brazing, hot stamping, and chemical heat treatment of metal materials (such as carburizing and carbonitriding). 1. Fast heating speed and high efficiency:
The thermal conductivity of molten salt is much higher than that of air, and the heating rate of the workpiece can reach 10-50 ° C/s. It has high production efficiency and significant energy-saving effect.

Through convection, the temperature distribution inside the salt bath is extremely uniform, and the temperature uniformity in the effective working area is better than most air furnaces;
3. Workpiece deformation and cracking tendency are small:

Equipment usage precautions

When the furnace temperature of the equipment is ≥ 300 ℃, it is forbidden to open the reaction chamber to avoid injury;
2. Minor cracks caused by continuous use of the furnace are a normal phenomenon and do not affect the normal use of the equipment;

1. Isothermal quenching/graded quenching: Austenitized workpieces are quenched in molten salt at a temperature higher than the martensitic transition point (Ms point), and after isothermal treatment for a period of time, air-cooled to obtain a lower bainite structure, significantly reducing deformation and cracking, and improving toughness.
2. Heat treatment of high-speed steel cutting tools: achieving rapid and uniform heating, ensuring high hardness and red hardness.
